NC Easter Cape Clear Row

PaulG
Dear NC Massive,

we are planning our Easter Baltimore Cape Clear row Sunday 1st April 🐇🐣🍫

Rough plan of attack:
•load boats Saturday 1:30 after club row
•Sunday morning rendezvous Baltimore Pier 9.00am for unloading

Route:
•Baltimore through sound to southside of Sherkin - Horseshoe Harbour - Cape Clear - northside of Sherkin - Heir Island - Baltimore -  with stops along the way..

The long-term weather forecast is showing a bit of wind on Sunday so we might defer to Monday as required. We will know more re a detailed forecast midweek next week.

Oisín has kindly offered to co-organise the row and to do a passage planning/offshore rowing theory training evening next week in advance. There will be a follow up session on the day and during the row for putting the theory into practice as well.  Details and location for training evening to follow..

Please state interest in row by replying to email/forum/Fbook...

Best vibes,

Paul G

I'm interested too, but would need a spin down/back as no wheels available at the moment.

Hi All,

we will have a long row on Monday for all those interested.. The forecast is now looking good for Monday, some light rain might be the worst of it..

option 1:
Cape Clear as per original plan - meet 9:00 Baltimore pier for unloading

option 2:
Blackwater Cappoquin to Youghal - meet Cappoquin 9:00 for unloading

either way we will get on the water. Will make a call on destination later today, let me know if interested also state your preference.

Loading boats after club row today @ 1:30..

Best vibes,

Paul G
